31/07/2006
The first Shell-branded automotive retail fuels station in Ukraine has been officially opened today, 31 July 2006, in Kiev. The retail station, in Bratislavskaya Street, was upgraded and prepared for operation under the leading international retail brand on the basis of a Licence Agreement signed by Shell Brands International AG and LLC NCAlliance-Ukraina (Alliance-Ukraine).
It is expected that in the near future a few more Alliance-Ukraine retail stations in the capital will start working under the Shell brand.
Patrick van Daele, Shell Country Chairman in Ukraine, said, “Ukraine is a country with a high potential for economic growth and we are proud that the Shell brand has become the first international brand on the Ukrainian retail fuels market. We are committed to offer to the Ukrainian customers automotive products and services of the highest quality.”
Sergey Sidorenko, President of Alliance-Ukraine, stated that the joint project will have a positive effect on the business environment of the country’s fuel retail market.
Shell and Alliance-Ukraine continue to look at opportunities to expand their co-operation on the Ukrainian automotive retail fuels market.
