Executive Director R. Routs - Contract

An agreement was signed on 3 May 2006 with Rob Routs, Executive Director responsible for Downstream stipulating that, subject to re-election at the Annual General Meeting on 16 May, Mr. Routs will continue in his present roles, including as Executive Director of Royal Dutch Shell plc and Executive Director Downstream, until 31 December, 2008. As previously disclosed REMCO has decided to depart from a policy of mandatory retirement at a particular age for Executive Directors. The agreement with Rob Routs is a reflection of this policy change.
