The Shell Report and Annual Reports published today

The Royal Dutch/Shell Group of Companies (Shell) has published today its 8th Shell Report, which describes Shells environmental and social performance in 2004, and the Annual Reports and Accounts of Royal Dutch Petroleum Company and The Shell Transport and Trading Company, p.l.c.

Commenting on Shell’s environmental and social performance Jeroen van der Veer, Shell’s Chief Executive said: 

“The growth of energy companies in the decades ahead will depend on their ability to operate with integrity and to listen and respond to society’s expectations for their operations and products.  This report has again been prepared in line with the Global Reporting Initiatives guidelines.  I believe it represents a balanced and reasonable presentation of our organisation’s economic, environmental and social performance”.
