Contributing to communities in Kuwait

In Kuwait and wherever we work in the world, we take our responsibilities to local communities and the environment extremely seriously. We are committed to using our knowledge and resources to make a positive difference to people’s lives and to minimise the impact of our operations wherever we can.

We are involved in a wide range of programmes with local organizations that support science education, innovation and business skills, and believe that initiatives such as these are vital in helping to meet some of the most pressing challenges facing society – not least, to meet growing energy demand in sustainable ways.

Shell also runs the 3R – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle – workshops programme in collaboration with an educational group. Our teams visit public and private schools throughout Kuwait to help students understand the importance of the environment and what they can do to protect it.

The New Energy Future

In the new energy future the world will need diverse energy sources to meet rising demand and technologies to help cut greenhouse gas emissions. At Shell we are ready to help tackle these challenges.
