Dividend reinvestment
Shareholders of Royal Dutch Shell plc are offered the opportunity to reinvest their dividends to receive shares rather than their cash entitlement. The terms of the services offered will vary from provider to provider, as they will depend on how you hold your shares.

- your whole cash dividend is used to buy shares
- your shares will be bought as soon as possible on or after the dividend payment date

The different plans
Registered Holdings, or holdings in the Royal Dutch Shell Nominee Service

Holdings in Euroclear
ABN AMRO Bank N.V. trading under the name RBS ("RBS") offer a service to investors who are holding their shares in Euroclear Nederland, through an admitted institution of Euroclear Nederland and are receiving dividends in the default currency for the share class.
In order to be eligible for such reinvestment, shareholders must instruct their bank or broker to deliver their dividend rights for reinvestment to RBS.
Tax consequences of participation in the Plan may vary dependent upon the tax residence of the shareholder and class of shares held. When in doubt as to tax consequences of participation in the plan, you should consult a tax advisor.
