This is the text of a stock exchange announcement made by Royal Dutch Shell plc on 07 November, 2008 to various stock exchanges.
Royal Dutch Shell plc announces that on 7 November, 2008 it purchased for cancellation 912,000 "A" Shares at a price of 1678.07 pence per share. It further announces that on the same date it purchased for cancellation 28,000 "B" Shares at a price of 1668.39 pence per share.
Following the cancellation of these shares, the remaining number of "A" Shares of Royal Dutch Shell plc will be 3,545,663,973 and the remaining number of "B" Shares of Royal Dutch Shell plc will be 2,695,808,103.
