In conjunction with the 61st Indonesian Independence Day on August 17, Shell Companies in Indonesia, as one of the world’s largest oil and gas companies, participates to celebrate the country’s anniversary by distributing Indonesian flags to all their customers who fill their fuel at any Shell fuels retail outlet. Commencing on August 11 this program is conducted by Shell to share the spirit of unity with all Indonesian people. Surinderdeep Singh, General Manager Retail for Shell Companies in Indonesia said, ”We would like to celebrate the 61st Indonesian Independence Day with all the people of Indonesia. By giving Indonesian flags to all our customers, we hope to brighten up the streets of Jakarta and Karawaci. Let’s fulfill the independence!”
