Shell Takes Price Down to Below Rp 5,000 (English)

Shell Companies in Indonesia has taken a further reduction off the price of petrol and diesel, which take effect 00.00 hrs on 18 October. This is the second time in less than a month that Shell has led fuel price reductions. An easing of the cost of imported petrol reflected in MOPS together with a stable Rupiah has made this price reduction possible.

 

Surinderdeep Singh, General Manager Retail for Shell Companies in Indonesia said, “Price change usually would have taken place at the beginning of the next month, but in recognition of the upcoming Hari Raya Idul Fitri and the increased travel it brings, Shell would like to reward its customers with an earlier-than-planned price change. Shell is committed to bringing Indonesian consumers the best possible fuel prices, and we are delighted to be able to bring further savings to the motorist.”

 

The new reduced prices are:

  • Shell Super Rp 4,950
  • Shell Super Extra  Rp 5,350
  • Shell Diesel Rp 5,500

 

All of Shell’s fuels retail outlets in Indonesia offer motorists high-speed modern gasoline pumps, digitally printed receipts, free air pump, and high-quality fuels consisting of Shell Super and Shell Super Extra, with octane levels of 92 and 95 respectively, and Shell Diesel that is recommended for all types of diesel-powered vehicles. All Shell fuel products help keep the engine clean. Shell has fuel retail outlets in Lippo Karawaci, Jl. S. Parman, West Jakarta, Jl. Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta and Jl. Gatot Subroto, Jakarta Selatan.
