Shell Advance: ‘Get More Response from Your Bike!’ Complete with DPA Advanced Technology (English)

20/07/2006

Aligned with Shell’s commitment to its consumers in Indonesia, Shell Advance launches “Get More Response from Your Bike!” campaign with the introduction of Shell Advance’s Dynamic Performance Additive (DPA) technology. This is in line with Shell Advance brand vision as the bike lubricant dedicated to help bikers get the most from their bikes. Shell fully understands the needs of bikers and strives to always give the best bike engine treatment for bikers.

The main objective for the launch is to communicate the benefits of Shell Advance: increased responsiveness from bikes in all conditions that will keep bike in peak condition.  The additional DPA technology has been proven and trusted to control oxidation in engines and keep the oil “young and fit”, so bikers will get more response from their bike.  Shell Advance prevents engine deterioration, so that the lubricant can perform at its best capacity until the next oil change. Shell Advance also contains special detergent to help the components stay clean by safely releasing all unwanted carbon-based particles. These advantages can help improve the bike’s engine prime performance.

The Shell Advance family of products is divided into two engine categories, the 4-stroke engine and the 2-strokes engine. For 4-stroke engine, Shell has three lubricant variants; Shell Advance VSX4, Shell Advance SX4, and Shell Advance S4. For 2-stroke engine Shell Advance has four variants; Shell Advance VSX2, Shell Advance SX2, Shell Advance S2, and Shell Advance Racing X.  All Shell Advance motorcycle oils contain DPA Technology.

Bob Moran, CEO and President Director of Shell Companies in Indonesia said "With more than 20 million bike owners and growing in Indonesia, Shell is committed to always give the best for the Indonesian consumers and we consistently endeavor to meet their needs. This commitment is reflected in our product offerings in the market. We are optimistic that Shell Advance with its latest technology meets the needs of Indonesian bikers."

Shell Advance is developed and tested on the international racetracks with Ducati and has gained trust from Ducati in the MotoGP and Superbike team to become their official technical partner over the past five years. Currently, Ducati has put a complete trust in Shell Advance by putting labels on Ducati bike freshly released from the Ducati factory stating Ducati’s recommendations to use Shell Advance for every Ducati bike.
