In her opinion, the underlying requirement for a career is multicultural environment, continuous challenge, and prudent processes. These factors she found in Shell. Her impression upon joining in February 2008, was that Shell is a fast growing company with people that are very driven in performing and still knows how to have a good time. She found Shell to be a very efficient and prudent company, which resonates sustainable growth for the company as it gives flexibility and certainty. Theory is important but practice is far more essential. She has learned that the hardest part in making a great business comes from great teamwork and managing people. In a short period of time, she has learned that even if Shell has a good system, concept and people . You also need to have the initiative and a supportive culture.
