Fuel developed in partnership with Ferrari now in UK

Drivers in the UK who would like enhanced engine responsiveness can try Shell’s V-Power‡ fuel next time they fill up, as it is now available in fuel stations up and down the country.

Shell scientists developed the high-performance fuel in technical partnership with the Shell-supported Ferrari Formula 1 team. Now it is available on UK Shell forecourts to motorists looking to help improve the performance of their vehicles.
 
Shell V-Power is designed to help deliver optimum engine responsiveness and to remove power-robbing deposits, thus helping the fuel to burn more effectively and the engine to run more smoothly.

It also contains Shell’s friction modification technology, which was developed to reduce friction within the engine and improve vehicle responsiveness.

Wolfgang Warnecke, global manager fuels technology, Shell Global Solutions (Deutschland) GmbH, says, “In developing Shell V-Power, we have built on the highly successful performance platform achieved with Shell Optimax‡. Working with the Ferrari Formula 1 team has given our scientists exceptional insight into engine performance.”
