With some diesel fuels, deposits can build-up in the engine over time, even during normal everyday operation. These deposits can impair overall engine performance and reduce combustion efficiency. Shell Diesel Extra has been specially designed to help protect the engine against the build-up of these deposits.

Many of the components in the vehicle’s fuel system are metallic, and consequently there is potential for corrosion to take place.
