Skeljungur, and its predecessor HF Shell, have been the Shell distributors in Iceland for the last 80 years. The business span a range of activities such as the operation of automotive retail sites (currently 43), oil depots (13) and lubricant service centres as well as the sale of marine and aviation fuel. For the automotive retail sites including the sale of Shell branded fuels such as Shell V-Power Skeljungur and Shell Brands International signed Trade Mark Licence Agreement in 2006 which allows Skeljungur to use the Shell Brand at automotive retail sites under licence
