What we put into Ferrari, you get out of your car
For 60 years Ferrari has been synonymous with high performance cars, both on the race track and on the road. When the very first Ferrari drove out of the factory gates in Maranello, Italy, it was powered and protected by Shell. In fact, Shell was with Ferrari at its first Grand Prix win in 1951, just as it shares victory in Formula One with Ferrari today.
During our partnership with the Ferrari Formula One team, Shell has contributed to 11 FIA Formula One Constructors’ World Championship titles and eight Drivers’ titles. Not only do we develop Shell V-Power and Shell Helix oil for use on track, but we also provide full analytical services at every race. A team of Shell experts staff the Shell Track Lab, a trackside laboratory embedded in the Ferrari team compound. The constant testing of fuel and oil from the race cars ensures that the drivers are able to get the best performance on track at all times.
But the partnership is about more than track success – it’s about transferring that race technology to the road.
