What is the issue?

Oil and gas projects and facilities can affect communities in many ways. On the positive side, they can be a catalyst for economic and social development through providing employment, business opportunities and support wider development in the community. But our operations can also have negative impacts, creating disturbances for communities.

Obtaining and maintaining a licence to operate and grow requires broad acceptance and support of our business from the communities and societies in which we work. In order to earn this trust, we need to understand the concerns that a community may have and work with them to mitigate the negative impacts and create lasting economic opportunities.

Our Approach to working with our Neighbours.
