Reporting against the UN Global Compact: Human rights
Support for fundamental human rights is in our General Business Principles and an integral part of how we operate. We believe that companies have a role to play in upholding and promoting human rights. This can be done in practical ways directly related to their business activities, and in supporting governments' efforts to improve their human rights performance.
Principle 1: Support and respect the protection of international human rights within their sphere of influence

Principle 2: Business should make sure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses
To help staff understand issues around human rights we have developed training, tools and guidelines.
