EuroSpeedway Lausitz Racing Circuit
We are pleased to announce that the 2010 edition of the Shell Eco-Marathon Europe will be held at the EuroSpeedway Lausitz track in Germany during 6th – 7th May.

EuroSpeedway Lausitz is a great racing circuit that meets the highest technical and infrastructure requirements of the Shell Eco-marathon Europe. Opened only in 2000, Lausitzring is a state-of-the-art complex that has already developed a reputation as a challenging circuit in the motor-racing world. Its generously proportioned safety areas and wide track and chicanes make the course the ideal location for pushing vehicles to the limit of their fuel efficiency.

Lausitzring has all the ingredients to keep the true spirit of the event alive:
- The race track and test oval cover some 367 hectares
- The inner race track is 4.534 km long
- There are 45 garages for technical inspections and 55 pits

Getting There
By plane
The airports in Dresden (62km; 40 minutes by car), Berlin (133km; 90 minutes by car) and Leipzig (191km; 100 minutes by car) are the closest international airports to EuroSpeedway Lausitz. Car hire is available at each of the airports. There are also train connections from the airports to Senftenberg or Grossräschen. For information on the most convenient rail connections from the airports, please visit Deutsche Bahn website.
By road
From Berlin
Travel along the A13 motorway in the direction of Cottbus-Dresden. At exit 10 (Dreieck Spreewald) take the direction of Dresden/Chemnitz. Exit motorway at exit 15 (Klettwitz) and drive towards Schipkau / Senftenberg.
From Dresden
Travel along the A4 motorway in the direction of Berlin / Görlitz and leave at exit 81b (Dresden-Flughafen). Continue along the A13 motorway in the direction of Berlin-Cottbus. Leave the highway at exit 15 (Klettwitz) and take direction Lausitzring / Hoyerswerda / Senftenberg.
From Leipzig
Travel along the A14 motorway towards Dresden and leave at exit 38 (Dreieck Nossen). Continue along A4 motorway in the direction of Dresden / Görlitz. Leave the motorway at exit 81b (Dresden-Flughafen) and travel along the A13 motorway in the direction of Berlin / Cottbus. Exit the motorway at exit 15 (Klettwitz) and follow the signs for Lausitzring / Hoyerswerda / Senftenberg.
From Cottbus
Take the B169 federal highway. After passing Allmosen change onto the B96 federal highway. Follow the signs for Finsterwalde / Großräschen / Berlin /Dresden until you arrive at Senftenberg. Travel along Klettwitzer Straße and follow the signs for the EuroSpeedway Lausitz.
By train
Take train to Senftenberg or Grossräschen. You can plan your personal itinerary on the Deutsche Bahn website. Once you arrive in either station you should taxi or a bus to the EuroSpeedway Lausitz.
By bus
You can reach the EuroSpeedway Lausitz by bus on routes 610 (from Grossräschen) or 627 (from the direction of Senftenberg / Lauchhammer). Get off at the Meuro Mühle stop. The EuroSpeedway Lausitz it a 10 minutes walk from here.
