AdBlue® from Shell

AdBlue® is the convenient solution to Euro 4 & Euro 5 compliance for SCR-equipped vehicles. AdBlue® is a non-hazardous 32.5% solution of urea, a nitrogen compound in demineralised water specifically developed to treat exhaust gases.

AdBlue® is stored in a small dedicated tank on your truck and is injected into the exhaust gases before passing through the SCR catalytic converter. This converter breaks the gases down into harmless natural water and nitrogen.

AdBlue® is available both in 5 or 10 litre packs at a large selection of service stations across Europe, and increasingly in key locations at the pump. Use the euroShell Card truck network tool to see which stations offer AdBlue®in which format.

We're continually expanding our AdBlue® offer at the pump. For bulk AdBlue® deliveries to your homebase facility, contact your Shell account manager who will explain arrangements we can offer.

Shell Fuel Stretch Lubricants

Consider this, in a typical diesel truck engine up to 60% of an engine’s fuel energy is lost through heat exhaust and engine friction. So only as little as 40% of the energy created within each engine is available to fight the many other factors within a moving vehicle: aerodynamic drag, rolling resistance, drive train friction, accessories operation and inertial forces.
