Better Environment Scheme

The Better Environment Scheme in Mainland China encourages schoolchildren to apply their environmental learning and develop community projects designed to protect the environment.

Tree Planting

Since 1998, Shell has supported tree planting in Beijing, Tianjin, Zhapu, and Guangzhou. A Shell Forest is growing at the Simatai Great Wall.

Children's Environmental Guide

Shell sponsored a successful children's environmental guide written by Chinese environmental protection experts and published by Beijing Global Village.

Shell has sponsored CERS since 1993 on important conservation projects in remote areas of China.
