Ethylene oxide glycol ethers

Shell chemicals companies produce ethylene oxide glycol butyl ethers that are sold under the trade name OXITOL*. Butyl OXITOL is the Shell Chemicals name for ethylene oxide glycol monobutyl ether (also known as EB or EGBE). Butyl DIOXITOL* is the Shell Chemicals brand of diethylene glycol monobutyl ether (DB or DGBE).
