REACH European chemicals policy

Registration numbers are included in the registration update that can be accessed on this page as well as on revised Safety Data Sheets, which have been released for all of our products. "

What is REACH?
REACH is the European Union (EU) regulatory system for chemicals. It came into force on 1 June 2007 and will involve the registration of some 30,000 chemicals.

The registration of a product under REACH is a complex process, requiring significant effort on the part of manufacturers and importers, and likely to stretch over at least three years.
What should you do?
REACH impacts the whole chemical supply chain. Whether you are a manufacturer, importer or downstream user, make sure you know your responsibilities to ensure continuity of supply.
Review of product uses
Registration of Shell Chemicals products under REACH includes the registration of specific product uses. Downstream users will need to review and feedback on product-specific use information when released in updated Safety Data Sheets.
