Our people
Shell Chemicals employs over 1,000 staff in more than 30 countries, who work in partnership with more than 8,000 colleagues across Shell in chemicals-related roles.

We aspire to have zero fatalities, injuries and serious incidents, and strive to build a culture that drives continuous improvement. Through our Hearts and Minds programme we work to strengthen the safety culture among both staff and contractors.
Sustainable development is at the heart of our operations. We strive to ensure activities have zero negative impact on people or the environment. Our Product Stewardship activities support the responsible production, use and handling of our products.
Keeping people informed
Only by active participation and delivery by all employees will we achieve our business objectives. We communicate regularly to employees through a variety of channels, including an e-newsletter, regular webcasts from senior leaders, videos, intranet, publications and face-to-face engagement. The annual Shell People Survey provides important insights into our employees' views.
