Dave took up his current role in July 2011 following 15 years as a production unit manager across several UK plants at Carrington (seconded to a Joint Venture) and Stanlow Manufacturing Complex.
Previously he had worked in a variety of technology, process design, operations and HSE/community relations roles at Stanlow and in The Netherlands (The Hague and Pernis) after joining Shell in 1983.
Dave graduated with a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge University and is a Fellow of The Institution of Chemical Engineers. He is a director of the Chemical Industries Association, chairing their Responsible Care programmes.
Married with 3 children at University, his interests include golf, rowing and (increasingly from an armchair) various other sports.
