Within Resourcing & Development, Recruitment ensures the enterprise attracts and hires the best people worldwide. Talent Management is responsible for managing the group’s resourcing requirements as well as the developing our talent pipeline through global programs and processes.

A division of Central HR, Recruitment works on a global basis to bring the best of the world's talent to Shell. We have over 300 staff working in teams based in Bangalore, Beijing, Doha, Dubai, The Hague, Hamburg, Houston, Kuala Lumpur, London, Malaysia, Melbourne, Moscow and Port Harcourt.
It's our responsibility to identify and recruit top quality graduates and experienced professionals whose skills will secure long-term competitive advantage for Shell. We’re responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining best practice in recruitment across Shell
Advising Group businesses on recruitment strategies and providing key market information - Promoting a global approach to recruitment across Shell businesses
- Achieving maximum efficiency for Shell's recruitment processes
- Collaborating closely with our stakeholders: namely the Shell Group, candidates and external partners.
We’re looking for:
- Experience of recruiting graduate and experienced commercial or technical professionals
- An acute awareness of the latest trends and developments in the recruitment field
- Excellent communicators who can build lasting relationships at all levels and work in partnership with internal and external customers
- A sharp eye for detail
- The ability to deliver results
- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service
- The ability to balance priorities and work effectively under pressure
Talent Management
Our job is to make sure all of our seats are filled with the right people at the right time. We resource the business by bringing in new people and developing those who already work for us by ensuring they have opportunities for further growth.
It's vital that we identify our future business leaders and support their development. We have programmes in place to ensure we have a continuous and diverse flow of talent in the pipeline. Internal recruitment is important in Shell, not least because we always need to think about succession planning for key positions.

We're responsible for:
- Driving simplicity and consistency in the management of talent across the Group and building connections across the HR function
- Standardising existing programmes and looking at ways to enhance them
- Overseeing Group Talent Management processes through TalentNet, the body which provides talent leadership for the Group
- Liaising with key stakeholders globally. By stakeholders we mean the senior talent managers in the businesses, our counterparts in LearnNet and PayNet, and the employees with the highest Current Estimated Potential
We're looking for:
- Frontline HR experience, specifically in the area of Resourcing & Development
