Finance Job Areas
Global Finance is the name of Finance function in Shell. It includes all those who work in a Finance role in the Business, in Corporate Finance, in one of our shared services centres, in specialty areas such as taxation, mergers and acquisitions and investor relations and IT and HR staff who specifically support Finance. Irrespective of where Finance people work, they all ultimately report to Peter Voser, our CFO.
Internal Audit
Working with Operating Units, business processes and major projects, it’s our responsibility to help improve and streamline the way we work.
Investor Relations
We ensure that communication channels between Shell and its major shareholders are always open.
Group Taxation
As Group Taxation specialists, we provide consultancy advice for all Shell assets and global operations.
Treasury
We’re responsible for funding the growth of our businesses in the most cost-effective way possible.
Mergers & Acquisitions
We provide Shell companies around the world with corporate finance advice on everything from divestments to Joint Ventures.
Shared Service Centres
Shell Shared Service Centres are part of Global Finance and have a key role to play in supporting operational delivery.
