Technical roles

printable version
Process Engineering

One of the things I like about my work is the  variety. Each day presents a new problem and a new way of solving it has to be found. I also enjoy the fact that my job does not involve being chained to a desk, but rather exploring the plant during plant shutdowns, and climbing through columns, vessels and reactors!
Melanie, Process Engineer

We provide technological expertise to oil and gas production facilities, onshore and offshore, and to both refineries and chemical plants.

The nature of our work varies depending on business needs, but ranges from day-to-day visits to the control room to discuss issues with operators, through to long-term project development as part of a larger team.

If you join us as a Process Engineer, your responsibilities could include:

  • Ensuring the technical integrity of plants and new projects for both internal and external customers
  • Designing, optimising and improving the operation of equipment and facilities
  • Advising on process safety issues
  • Analysing and interpreting laboratory and plant data
  • Commissioning new installations.
