Supporting Environmental Programs

In 2006, Shell Canada contributed $1.5 million toward environmental protection and enhancement projects. The majority of our environmental support is through the Shell Environmental Fund and our long-standing partnership with the Nature Conservancy of Canada.

	Nature Conservancy of Canada The Nature Conservancy of Canada and Shell Canada Limited have been "natural partners" in land conservation projects for more than 25 years.

	Shell Environmental Fund Started in 1990, the Shell Environmental Fund helps Canadians improve and protect the environment by turning ideas into action.

	Canadian Environment Awards Since 2002, Shell Canada has partnered with Environment Canada and Canadian Geographic to present the Canadian Environment Awards.

	Shell Eco-marathon Americas The Shell Eco-marathon encourages innovation, reinforces conservation and fosters development of leading technology for greater energy efficiency.
