Sulphur

printable version
Shell is Canada’s largest sulphur producer, and has developed markets to become a global sulphur leader. Our Canadian production accounts for 15 – 20 percent of internationally traded sulphur. We supply over 4 million tonnes of sulphur annually to domestic and international markets from multiple production locations. If our yearly production were placed in rail cars, it would require a continuous train of rail cars 460 km long.
