Thermia C – Long-life heat transfer oil
Thermia C oil is a highly refined oil containing an oxidation inhibitor additive. It is specifically designed for use in indirectly fired heat transfer systems such as those found in particle board mills or asphalt plants. In closed systems, Thermia C oil may be used up to 290 °C for continuous operations and up to 315 °C for short intermittent periods, again, only in closed systems. Low temperature start-up limits are -5 °C for systems employing centrifugal oil pumps and -7 °C for systems with gear pumps.
