Form oil is a special blend of mineral and fatty oils which provides for the easy release of wooden concrete construction forms so that a high quality smooth concrete finish can be obtained. The oil is specifically designed for use on wooden forms and its preservative action will also extend their life.
Form oil may be applied neat or cut-back with kerosene. If a cut-back is desired, we recommend an initial trial with 10% kerosene. The results will indicate if more or less kerosene may be added in the application involved.
Its viscosity is similar to that of an SAE 10 motor oil and it may be sprayed, swabbed or brushed onto the forms.
