What is Shell Canada’s position on Nigeria?

We are concerned about violence and crime, particularly in the Niger Delta, resulting primarily from inter-ethnic conflict and poverty. However, Shell Nigeria will not use force nor seek armed intervention to suppress peaceful protests, even if oil production is disrupted.
