AOSP Expansion 1 is a fully integrated 100,000 barrel-a-day expansion of oil sands mining and upgrading facilities.

Here is AOSP Expansion 1 at a glance:

• Construction of mining and extraction facilities at Jackpine Mine, on the east side of Lease 13
• Expansion of froth treatment facilities at exisiting Muskeg River Mine
• Expansion of the Scotford Upgrader, near Edmonton, Alberta
• Development of common infrastructure such as power transmission lines, roads, camps and site pipelines to support future expansions
