The automated program will be flexible and easy to use for both customers and FBOs. Shell FBOs will not need to maintain program participant lists or station cards. Shell Aviation customers will be able to look up current, individual pricing information on the web. If they wish, customers may have program participation verified by the FBO using a web-based interface or issue contract fuel cards to each of their pilots/aircraft. Buddy Stallings, president of Eastern Aviation Fuels, Shell Aviation’s exclusive distributor in the US, said, “This program is another of Shell’s innovative offerings and demonstrates Shell’s commitment to bringing higher levels of service to the US general aviation community.” Eastern Aviation Fuels converted a significant part of its FBO network to Shell Aviation in November of last year. The Shell Aviation network includes approximately 300 locations in the United States and over 800 international locations. *The expression Shell Aviation refers to the companies of the Royal Dutch/Shell Group, which are engaged in the aviation business.
