Wilson Air Center converts to Shell Aviation

11/10/2004

HOUSTON – Shell Aviation*, global suppliers of aviation fuels, lubricants and services, and Wilson Air Center, a premier Fixed Base Operator (FBO) in North America and home to one of the largest aircraft canopies in the world, have announced that Wilson Air Center is converting to Shell Aviation for its fuel supply needs. This follows the reseller agreement between Shell Aviation and Eastern Aviation Fuels announced in 2003.

Wilson Air Center is the number one-rated North American FBO, as voted by pilots in Aviation International News for five consecutive years. Wilson Air Center wishes to continue its winning relationship with Eastern Aviation Fuels and their fuel supplier, Shell Aviation. Wilson Air Center founder and president, Robert A. (Bob) Wilson recently announced the change of fuel suppliers to Shell Aviation and Eastern Aviation Fuels and stated, "Our relationship with Eastern Aviation Fuels has been beyond reproach and it was an easy decision for Wilson Air Center to continue by converting to the Shell Aviation brand.”

David J. Ivey, Vice President of Wilson Air Center also said,  “The positive growth pattern displayed by Shell Aviation coincides with the award winning recognition of Wilson Air Center and our commitment to our customers.”

Rick Woods, Shell Aviation Vice President North America affirmed, “Wilson Air Center has a dedicated staff and does a fantastic job. We are proud to have them as a member of the Shell Aviation family of FBOs and look forward to our shared future in the aviation industry.”
