Shell Lubricant Product Changes 2009

Over the next few months, you will notice some changes to Shell Lubricants product range in Australia.

These changes include the introduction of new names for our Shell Helix and Shell Rimula ranges, and withdrawal of some products.

New names for Shell Helix & Shell Rimula

Our new and improved Shell Helix and Shell Rimula range features user-friendly product names to make it simple for you to choose an oil to match your specific needs. Each tier in the re-vamped range has clear benefits, making it easier than ever before to understand the difference between each product.

The new range is based around performance tiers with new names. The easy to understand portfolio structure ranges from quality mainstream products such as Shell Helix HX3 and Shell Rimula R3 X to synthetic products such as Shell Helix HX7, Shell Helix Ultra, Shell Rimula R6M and Shell Rimula R6LM. The simple number tiering makes the relative performance of each product clear and simple, the higher number the better quality product, making it easier to choose the right oil for your specific needs.
