A record number of Shell Geelong Refinery employees supported The Cancer Council of Victoria’s Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea function sponsored by the refinery’s canteen, Eurest, and local bakery, Beaumont’s.

Local organiser of the morning tea, Shell Geelong Refinery’s Maryanne Harrison, was pleased with the support employees showed and the amount of money raised.

“Approximately 100 Shell employees supported the morning tea which is nearly a fifth of our full time workforce,” Maryanne said.

“We raised about $300 for The Cancer Council of Victoria which we know will be directed towards providing vital services.”
