I joined Shell for a number of reasons, primarily for the challenges and opportunities that come with working for a high performing global company. The diversity of people, experience and activities in Shell is great. There are many doors to open and paths to take if you are up for a challenging career.

How would you describe your role at Shell? |
|
My present role with Shell is in asset management for the Company’s bulk fuel storage facilities in North Queensland, Australia. This role is key to the ongoing and successful operation of our Distribution network in North Queensland and is very challenging. There are many opportunities to deliver value to the Company in this role, particularly during such dynamic and changing times.

What do you like most about the job? |
|
I particularly enjoy working with a diverse group of people from operators to professional engineers, business managers and human resources professionals. I also enjoy working at our different locations in North Queensland, and at times at other parts of Australia. Most importantly, the greatest satisfaction comes from seeing a measurable benefit/difference as a result of my efforts and those of the people around me.
