Dubai Airport's Joint Industry Fuel Farm achieves back-to-back landmark ratings from inspectors

The past decade has witnessed an impressive performance of the Joint Industry Fuel Farm (JIFF) at Dubai International Airport. Established in 1998, JIFF is the only fuel storage and supply joint venture of five major oil companies – BP, Chevron, Emarat (Emojet), ENOC and Shell, which has managed the joint venture for the past two years on a rotational basis.

AeroShell Ascender moves a step closer to full approval

It is two years since AeroShell Ascender was presented to the aerospace industry at the Dubai Air Show following its approval as a high performance capability oil to the new SAE AS 5780 specification for gas turbine lubricants. The product has now moved a significant step closer to full commercialisation with the expected approval by International Aero Engines (IAE).

Dubai, United Arab Emirates; 21 October 2009: Following the success of the Singapore Grand Prix, Shell Bitumen has once again been awarded the contract to supply binders, including Shell Cariphalte Racetrack, for the new Yas Marina Circuit due to host the inaugural Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in November 2009.
