Why did you decide to work for Shell?

After graduating from university, I spent a few months working for a leading finance and securities firm in Thailand which involved building up a stock trading portfolio. Although I found the work interesting I was really looking for more long-term job satisfaction, something I found when I joined Shell. I haven't looked back since.

How would you describe your role at Shell?

Over the years I've been given many wonderful opportunities to take up different roles in various parts of the business, not only within Finance. That's made me very happy as my role is constantly evolving, a process I find continually enriching. At Shell, I believe we can all benefit from these kinds of opportunities providing we are open to new experiences.

How would you describe your typical day?

To me, work is part of the rich balance of life. We all experience new things everyday and it's up to us which of these we incorporate into our own personal journey. Career development is a vital extension of that - helping us better formulate our thinking and communication, which has the knock on effect of more job satisfaction. It's a positive cycle.

What do you like most about the job?

All the roles I've taken up have given me the opportunity to learn new things, allowed me to exploit my key strengths and also challenged my weaknesses.
