What has been your career journey with Shell?

I joined Shell in an administration role 19 years ago. Since then, I've undertaken a range of different positions including a Secretary, a Telex Operator, an Account Assistant, CSC representative and CSC Team Leader. Now I'm the CSC Manager for Spain & Portugal.

What do you like best about your role?

I really enjoy having direct contact with customers. And working with people from different countries has broadened my views, increased my insight into business, and very much improved my team working, organisational skills, and flexibility. Moving forward, I plan to work more closely with other areas of the business which might offer new challenges and enable me to further advance in my career.

What makes you stay at Shell?

I think I have made a key contribution to Shell by being a hard working, consistent, open-minded woman who has never feared change and who has always looked for new challenges.

I believe the company will go on changing the perception of a 'male business world' by continuing to accept that women in this or any other business are just as capable as men. Women deserve to be considered and evaluated for leading positions in equal conditions.
