What is your current role at Shell?

I provide generalist HR support to people in Commercial Lubricants in Australia & New Zealand. This can range from HR policy advice to business leaders, facilitating D&I sessions and recruitment. I have the opportunity to work with a large number of people in the Lubricants business, from Supply Chain and Marketing through to Brand & Communications.

 

What do you like best about your role?

I like the variety and challenge that my current role offers me. I’m given the responsibility to work autonomously, but I’m also part of a local team of HR professionals and part of a regional team supporting the Commercial business in SOPE. I enjoy being able to implement HR best practices through various projects and initiatives into our Australian & New Zealand businesses. I like to think that I am making a difference to the working life of other Shell employees and ultimately contributing to the Shell Lubricants business.
