Why did you decide to work for Shell?

Shell offered me great opportunities to develop my leadership skills and achieve a good work-life balance. I always dreamed of working for a successful company, contributing to its performance and mentoring friends and colleagues through a range of corporate opportunities.

How would you describe your role at Shell?

I'm responsible for implementing a retail portfolio strategy that will optimise financial returns and improve Shell's competitiveness in California.

How would you describe your typical day?

I work from home and spend my day reviewing the status of various projects and efficiencies, processing road blocks, interfacing with Shell's channel partners and reviewing asset disposition proposals.

What are your future career plans?

I'd like a global role in one of Shell's head offices, so I can continue my professional development and gain the skills necessary to be a General Manager in Sales and Operations. I hope to finish my career with Shell and retire as a Vice President.

What makes you stay at Shell?

So many things - the people, the opportunities for growth and development, the recognition of high performance, the accountability and professional networks, and the superior rewards and benefits.
