Shell’s comprehensive line of neat oils offers extended tool life for applications ranging from light-duty cutting to heavy-duty broaching. The range of grinding oils provides products for both high-speed grinding operations as well as for special applications such as the manufacturing of cemented carbide tools. Shell Macron and Garia Oils address common operation demands such as high lubricity, long tool life, light colour, low odour, reduced oil mist and an excellent HSSE profile.

• For light to medium machining of copper metals, aluminium, steel and cast iron

• Selected grades for honing and grinding

• Macron 401-F 22 and 32 are tri-purpose oils for cutting, machine lubrication and hydraulic applications

• Shell Macron EDM 110, universal dielectric for roughing, fining and super fining

• Recommended for the EDT (Electro Discharge Texturising) of steel rolls

• Shell Macron EDM 130, with high removal rate for rough machining

• For medium to severe cutting of aluminium, cast iron, steel and stainless steel

• Contain active sulphur for efficient reduction of built-up edges (BUE)

• High additive reserve for long sump life and resistance to dilution with tramp oils
