Scenarios: An Explorer’s Guide

In ‘Scenarios: An Explorer’s Guide’ we have tried to present Shell’s scenario work by selecting specific examples from our 2001 Global Scenarios project. The book is written for people who like to build and use scenarios, and also for those who want to enhance their scenario thinking skills.

‘Scenarios: An Explorer’s Guide’ is written in two parallel streams: one explains the intent behind our scenario work, while the other provides practical examples. There are many different reasons for - and many different ways to approach -building scenarios. Rather than attempting to provide a single definitive description of scenarios, our aim in creating this book has been to provide some guidance and ideas for those interested in scenario thinking.
