Oil Products
Retail Filling and Service Stations
Shell operates 46 retail filling and service stations in Hong Kong and 4 in Macau. Most of the stations are open 24 hours a day, all stock the full range of Shell's advanced fuel and automotive lubricant products and about half offer Lube Change Service. Shell also provides auto car wash services at 6 stations. In addition, you can drive home many hot offers at Shell convenience stores during refueling.
Liquefied Petroleum Gas
Shell is the market leader in supplying LPG in Hong Kong and Macau. Through the brand 'Shell Gas', it supplies cylinder LPG in Hong Kong to 100,000 households with around 53 Shell Gas showrooms managed by 36 authorised distributors. Shell also supplies piped LPG to 69 housing estates managed through 6 regional operators. In the industrial and commercial sector, Shell supplies LPG to many specialist applications requiring clean-burning fuels.
Aviation
Shell provides aviation fuel supply services for Hong Kong International Airport at Chek Lap Kok. We supply Jet A-1 for Hong Kong's commercial traffic, and are also the exclusive fuel supplier to the Business Aviation Centre that serves corporate jets.
Commercial Shell is a fuel supplier for major players in key industries, including franchised buses, container terminals and the construction sector. As a leading fuel supplier in the construction sector, Shell was the first supplier to install the Electronic Delivery Record system in our delivery fleet to provide greater accuracy and security for on-site refuelling at construction sites. With a comprehensive safety management system, Shell is recognised for its outstanding safety performance in the industry. Lubricants Shell is a leading lubricants supplier in Hong Kong, serving both the automotive and industrial sectors. Shell’s modern, state-of-the-art lubricants blending plant is the only one of its type in Hong Kong and supports the lubricants needs of both the Hong Kong SAR and the mainland China market. It has been awarded ISO 9001 Version 2008 quality certification. Shell is also a major supplier of aviation lubricants in Hong Kong. Bitumen Shell is the leading supplier of conventional and premium grade bitumen which has been extensively used in the construction of roads in the Hong Kong SAR. Our ability to deliver high quality bitumen in a timely manner has been well recognised and meets the stringent pavement requirements for application in both runways and taxiways at Hong Kong International Airport. Marine We are one of the leading providers of cleaner fuels to ferries, fishing boats and general cargo ships having activities within Hong Kong waters, meeting local regulations specified for fuel in this category. Chemicals Shell is the leading supplier of a wide range of petrochemical products to major Hong Kong industries. These include hydrocarbon solvents, chemical solvents, polyurethane chemicals and higher olefins and derivatives. Tsing Yi Terminal Shell's HKD 2.5 billion terminal is its largest single investment in Hong Kong to date and is a reflection of the company's continued commitment to the future of Hong Kong. Encompassing state-of-the-start technologies on safety and environment, this storage and distribution depot is committed to providing a safe and efficient supply of oil products to Hong Kong and Macau.
