  • 02 Apr 2013 Shell Aviation extends its network in Poland

    Today, Shell Aviation announced it has started operations at Kraków International Airport, extending its refuelling network in Poland. Shell Aviation has one of the most extensive aviation fuelling networks in the world and this is the second airport in Poland it now operates in, having begun providing fuels at Katowice Airport in January this year.

    For the third consecutive year, Shell Aviation has been named the best aviation fuel provider for the Middle Eastern and surrounding region, at the Emerging Markets Aviation Awards (EMAA).

  • 16 Jan 2013 Shell Aviation extends its global refuelling network into Poland

    Today, Shell Aviation celebrated the start of operations at Katowice International Airport in Southern Poland, marking its entry into Poland’s growing aviation market. In a move which underlines its position as a leading global aviation fuels and lubricants supplier, Shell Aviation now provides aviation fuels and associated services to selected airline customers at this airport. It is expected that Shell Aviation will start supplying fuel at further airports in Poland in the coming years.

  • 10 Jan 2013 Shell’s Russian aviation JV extends operations

    Today, Zao Shell & Aerofuels announced it has extended its aviation refueling network in Russia to include Pulkovo St Petersburg airport. In spite of the harsh winter conditions, Zao Shell & Aerofuels’ operations and support teams successfully made their first delivery of jet fuel to an international airline at Russia’s third largest airport on 2nd January 2013.

  • 07 Aug 2012 Shell Aviation joint venture contributes to back-to-back airport operational excellence award

    Dublin Airport has received the prestigious Delta Air Lines Grand Slam Award for the second consecutive quarter. The award recognises all the airport’s service providers to Delta Air Lines, including the into plane (ITP) operations (the re-fuelling of the aircraft), a service that is offered through the Shell and Topaz Aviation Ireland Ltd marketing joint venture.

  • 15 Dec 2011 ACSA Feather award - Shell Aviation Double award winner for Airport Safety

    Shell has been awarded the feather award for Safety in both Port Elizabeth Airport and Cape Town International Airport for 2011. The feather award is an annual award in which Operators and service providers at ACSA are recognized for service excellence in various categories.

  • 30 May 2011 Shell’s Aviation Fuel Takes flight at the Comox Valley Airport

    Comox, B.C. – Aviation fuel customers at the airport in Comox now have better access to onsite fuel supplies thanks to a significant investment from Shell Canada Products’ Aviation group (“Shell Aviation”). The Comox Valley Airport now has a new fuel tank that holds 120,000 litres of fuel, an airside refueller truck and other new equipment and services.
