Pat Fry

Pat Fry was born on 17 March 1964 in Shepperton, in the United Kingdom

He studied computer design at the Polytechnic of Central London and Electrical Engineering at the Technical College Brooklands, in Weybridge, Surrey and the Twickenham Technical College in Middlesex.

He came to Ferrari in 2010 to take on the role of Deputy Technical Director and today Pat is Technical Director of Scuderia Ferrari. Previously he worked as an Electronic Development Engineer for Thorn EMI Electronics Ltd (1980 to 1987) Electronics and Race Engineer at the Benetton Formula One™ team (1987 to 1992) before working in Research and Development and also Chief Engineer with the McLaren Racing Formula One™ team from 1993 to 2009.

Pat lives in Montale (Modena) and is married to Kate, with whom he has two sons, Joe and Charlie. In his free time, he indulges his passion for architecture and design.
