Luca Marmorini

Luca Marmorini has been Head of Engines and Electronics at Scuderia Ferrari since October 2009.
Born in Arezzo, Italy, on 17 June 1961, Marmorini graduated in Engineering from the University of Pisa in 1986, where he received his doctorate four years later while also working at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
In the same year, 1990, he started working at Scuderia Ferrari’s engine department, and later was head of the Research and Innovation division.
At the end of 1999 he started collaborating with Toyota Motorsport as it prepared to enter Formula One™.
After ten years in Germany with Toyota, Marmorini was invited by Scuderia Ferrari to take his current position, taking over from Gilles Simon.
