An exclusive interview with the Shell F1 Technology Manager
Lisa Lilley, Shell Formula One™ Technology Manager, freely admits she has the best job in Shell! Her visit to Albert Park this year will not only be her first visit to this particular track, but her first ever visit to Australia.
Lisa has spent the winter months working at the Shell facility in Chester, UK and at the Ferrari Factory in Maranello, Italy, overseeing the complex fuel and lubricant development programme, which Shell has in place to help maximise the team’s performance this year. And she is, quite frankly, looking forward to a bit of summer sun down in the south Pacific!
Just one of a large technical team that makes the Shell product development programme with Ferrari flow smoothly along, in 2007 Lisa will be attending all 17 races on the Formula One™ calendar. Her job involves managing the ongoing logistical challenge of supplying fuel and lubricants to the races and test sessions around the world, let alone Maranello itself.
