Felipe Massa becomes a 'Video Star' transcripts
Shell Motorsport gives you the chance to see a different side of Felipe Massa. Normally found racing around different tracks of the world, Felipe took some time to visit a Shell service station in his home country, Brazil.
We open to see a Shell service station on a bright sunny day. We see Felipe Massa in a small room, putting an ear pieces on. We then see his face on a screen situated just above the Shell gas pumps.
We see a car pull into place where the attendant begins to fill up a car. We then see Felipe on the TV with some binoculars looking at the driver. He starts talking to the driver, saying ‘If I would stop my F1 car at the pitstop like this, nobody would refuel my tank’. The woman is shocked; ‘How are you seeing me?!’ she asks. Massa replies, ‘Tricky! Is it usual to refuel this type of car with diesel?’. ‘Yes’ she replies before realising that it isn’t. Massa says ‘This guy is refuelling with diesel here!’.
We pull away and see another car, Massa asks ‘Could you make the noise of a F1 car’ he asks the driver. The man makes a quiet noise and Massa replies saying, ‘No, that’s a Vespa noise!’. The man says ‘No, that’s my Volvo noise!’. Try it yourself so I can see he asks Massa. A real F1 car noise is heard and Massa imitates this noise, moving his head quickly from left to right! The man makes a strange noise in return and Massa says ‘Cool!’.
Another car makes a noise and Massa says ‘What’s that fellow, sounds like an ambulance!’. We then see the car with a loudspeaker on its roof, Massa says ‘Very good man! Now turn your Ferrari on and go!’. The driver says ’Thanks a lot’. ‘See you later’ says Massa.
The scene starts with a bright yellow Fiat driving along a busy road in Brazil. We then see a variety of cars in a Shell service station, where the drivers are revving their engines trying to impress one another.
We then see the yellow Fiat pulling into the Shell service station alongside the revving cars, which are getting louder and louder. The Fiat door opens and out steps Felipe Massa in his racing overalls. He opens his car bonnet and begins to fill his car with Shell V-Power. As he steps back into his car and waves goodbye, the other drivers stare in disbelief as the little Fiat car drives off with the sound of a Ferrari Formula One car! The car speeds off leaving the drivers covering their ears from the noise!
The clip starts with a long shot of the Shell Petrol station where Felipe Massa plays tricks on the general public.
You see lots of clips of the film crew setting up the petrol station with all the hidden camera equipment.
After around 40 seconds of these shots, we see Felipe Massa arrive. He has his microphone fitted and is prepared for filming by the crew.
We see a shot of a red car with a huge megaphone on its top. The man inside is making Ferrari Formula One car noises with his voice – and it is being played through the speaker.

Felipe Massa: It was really nice. I really enjoyed it. I found it really funny and the atmosphere with all the people. For me it was very nice be involved in. Especially to surprise the people who didn’t know what was happening!
We cut to a picture of Felipe Massa driving the Fiat 600 and then a sequence of shots of the crew setting up for the filming of the Fiat 600 viral.

Felipe Massa Interview: I enjoy doing these kinds of things but being an actor – it’s very different. You need to have a good memory to remember and analyse everything. It’s difficult! So for me I prefer driving Formula One.
